Daniel Petterson co-founded TOG IOT in 2006 with David Abollaev and has been its CEO since the beginning. He is focused on how IoT is becoming the next tech revolution, starting with Smart Cities. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences on issues related to Smart Cities, Wireless Sensor Networks and the IoT. He is a computer engineer by the University of Zaragoza and graduated by ESADE Business School.

Daniel is also the first computer engineer to receive the National Young Entrepreneur at the 2014 meeting of the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (CEAJE).

David Abollaev

Co-Founder & CTO

David Abollaev, Computer Engineer by the Polytechnic Center of Zaragoza is the TOG IOT's Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer. He has been working as professor at the Engineers University of Zaragoza (Spain). His main research areas are the Wireless Sensor Networks (now commonly named as the "Internet of Things"), Mesh Networks and the Self Emergent and Auto organizational Complex Systems as show his development in the creation of two protocols for the Internet based on the ant colony and other swarm insects behaviors (Marabunta, Enjambre). In 2014 the TOG IOT Co-founders (David Abollaev and Daniel Petterson) won the National Young Entrepreneur Award given by their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Asturias.

Kim Xuwen

Project Lead - Asia

Kim Xuwen was born and raised in Suzhou, China and moved to Shanghai to pursue his passion for IoT and Smart technologies at the age of nineteen. Kim’s work has been the focus of a number of high profile events and editorials, capturing the attention of the smart world. In 2007, Kim was commissioned by Smart World magazine to do a special edition feature named “IoT meets people”. In 2008, Kim was also asked to form a collaboration with Hong Kong to celebrate the first anniversary of their operation in mainland China. Later that year, Kim was also invited to contribute to London, for which he implemented a series of projects.

Karan K

General Counsel, South Asia

Karan K is the General Counsel, South Asia for all TOG IOT Industrial businesses. As General Counsel, he drives excellence, project development, strategic & operational leadership across TOG IOT functions: Manufacturing, Operations, Global & Domestic Sourcing, Quality, Projects, Programs/transfers, supplier development, EHS, Logistics & International Trade Compliance related to South Asia. Karan holds Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and is active in key forums – as a member – including Innovation & Engineering, IoT Components Manufacturers Association of India. He currently operates out of India.
